Quintet of the Americas, a Queens-based woodwind quintet, presents a Mother's Day celebration with select works by women composers. Pieces will include On Seven-Star-Shoes by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Julia Wolfe, Caprice for Woodwind Quintet by New Yorker Peri Mauer, Five Frogs by Jenni Brandon, and others.
