The Medieval Festival Guild of New York produced the Medieval Festival at Fort Tryon Park in partnership with WHIDC and NYC Parks & Recreation from 1983 through 1985.
From 1988 until the present day, WHIDC has produced the festival.
This one-day festival has grown into the largest scheduled event in all NYC Parks, routinely attracting over 60,000 - 70,000 visitors.
