Movie posters are beloved by collectors.
Join us for an interactive tour of the current exhibition You Won't Bleed Me: How Blaxploitation Posters Defined Cool & Delivered Profits to learn how poster designers portrayed the heroic, strong, and cool Black characters of 1970s Blaxploitation cinema.
Then-just in time for Halloween-participate in a workshop where we will design costumes for the many characters we play in our own lives.
This program invites children 5-11 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome!).
This is not a drop-off program.
